Melon Cantalupo

The Cantaloupo melon has a fresh taste and a very watery consistency, it is 92% water.

The peel is sieved and has vertical grooves that mark the “slice” of the melon, the color varies from gray to green to yellow. The pulp is bright orange, the scent intense and aromatic, especially when the fruit is fully ripe. Finally, we remember its most important, most beneficial property, namely the ability to keep cholesterol levels under control and, given the conspicuous presence of vitamin B, to be a very useful fruit in case of depression.

Recommendation: eaten fresh, diced in a summer fruit salad or as a classic appetizer: ham and melon.
