Campari was born in 1860 in a small bar in Novara. It is here that Gaspare Campari created and perfected the recipe that has remained unchanged to this day. Campari is a bitter (a bitter-tasting alcoholic beverage), obtained from a mixture of alcohol and water and aromatic plants, bitter herbs and fruit. The Soda version is moderately alcoholic with an alcohol content of 10% vol.
