“Clementine Hernandina”

The tree is medium-sized with a spreading habit. The foliage is thicker and the leaves are larger than those of the “Comune” clementines, from which it also differs by the darker color of the bark of the trunk and branches.

Late ripening, January. The harvest is brought forward (December-January) and the fruit is kept in a cold room before being marketed to favor a more uniform color of the peel.
