It is a harmonious combination of forty aromatic herbs from all over the world, which give the amaro a rich and complex olfactory and taste profile.

Amaro Montenegro is still produced today faithfully following the secret formula of Cobianchi, jealously guarded in a safe.

The production process involves three phases: boiling, maceration and distillation of the herbs, which give rise to twelve aromatic essences.

These are then mixed with alcohol, water and sugar to obtain the final product, which is bottled in an iconic bottle, inspired by an alchemical ampoule.
