Apricot

Apricots are yellow-orange in colour with light red tones and have a slightly velvety skin. They have a single seed that resembles an almond and are harvested by hand from early May to mid-July.

The apricot is rich in vitamins B, C, PP, but above all in carotenoids, precursors of vitamin A, and is therefore suitable for promoting skin protection and vision.

RECOMMENDATION: Apricots are excellent as fresh fruit, but their slightly sour taste also makes them suitable for savory combinations, such as sauces for red meat.
