“Mandarins Tardivo”

Among the small citrus fruits, due to its late ripening, it is the last to start harvesting in March. Together with the lemon and the grapefruit, it is one of the three citrus species that belong to the genus “citrus”, even if it is the only sweet fruit that can be eaten.

According to a historical theory, all citrus varieties derive from precisely these three citrus species. It has a slightly orange-scented peel that is easy to peel, the segments are easily divisible and full of seeds.
