Ratafià di Pera Picciòla is a rare and refined liqueur, obtained from the homogenization of the picciòla pear, a native fruit of Monte Amiata. Its processing involves the reduction to puree, followed by a cloth filtration that eliminates seeds and fibrous parts, keeping the essence of the fruit intact. The maceration with peels and orange juice enhances the natural freshness of the pear, preventing oxidation and giving a unique aromatic balance. With a moderate alcohol content of about 22°, it is ideal in combination with desserts, but also surprises in mixing. Its consistency similar to a fruit juice makes it perfect to serve fresh in the summer, shaking it before pouring.
