Description
“Vigna Serrone Greco di Tufo D.O.C.G. Riserva” – Cantine di Marzo dal 1647
Intense golden yellow, this excellent white wine presents itself with delicate floral notes and hints of quince and melon that turn into mineral touches.
The taste is juicy and enveloping, with great structure, supported by the balanced savory development.
The grapes come from the old Serrone vineyard, located on a Tufo hill in the hamlet of Santa Lucia. It is a particularly well-exposed vineyard that produces our most representative and popular Greco di Tufo.

Winemaking techniques:
Vigneto di Tufo selected and vinified separately.
For this Greco cru of ours we use only the best part of the free-run must. It is carefully fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, using selected native yeasts. The wine rests on the lees for six months to give complexity and structure. The malolactic transformation occurs partially, depending on the natural acidity of the harvest. Before being bottled, the wine is lightly filtered and stored at cellar temperature for a year, before being released onto the market.
Pairing:
The freshness and flavor of this wine mean that it pairs very well with fatty dishes. Ideal with seafood, grilled fish and fresh cheeses, but also with more structured dishes such as white meats in sauce.
Serving temperature: 10 – 12 °C
Curiosity:
The grapes come from the vineyard called Serrone, located on a hill of Tufo, in the hamlet of Santa Lucia, bordering another of our selected vineyards, Vigna Ortale. It is a particularly well-exposed vineyard, which gives rise to our most representative and popular Greco di Tufo. The Serrone vineyard is also our oldest vineyard, with ancient Greco vines that are over 50 years old!
