The buffalo milk mozzarella is a creamy cheese specialty from Campania, southern Italy. This is where this exquisite and famous fresh cheese has its origins and tradition. Especially in Naples and in the provinces around Naples, i.e. Benevento, Frosinone, Latina, Isernia and the most remote town of Foggia: the best buffalo milk mozzarella is made by hand. The term mozzarella derives from the production process: the “mozzatura” (“cut, cut by hand”) separates the individual portions of the cheese.
Our buffalo milk mozzarella has been made by hand from 100% pure buffalo milk for over 40 years, with one decisive factor contributing to the consistency of quality: rearing and keeping our own herd of buffalo. This ensures that the animals are reared and fed in an optimal and species-appropriate manner, which is reflected in the quality and taste of the milk. The taste of buffalo milk mozzarella is creamy, milky. A real pleasure!
